Biography
Meredith Woolley, M.C. RCC
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC #12205) who has been practicing since 2011.
I’m honoured to be a Therapist. From experiencing my own trauma(s) and in knowing that I am an empathic person, I learned that I wanted to work closely with people and help them in some meaningful way. I know what it is like to sit in the clients seat, to be frustrated with not feeling my best and hungry for answers on how to improve my mental health.
In my personal life I enjoy listening to music, learning about nutrition, roller-skating, backcountry camping, hiking, playing disc golf, reading, and spending time with loved ones. I also have a passion for travelling and learning about other cultures which has inspired me to travel to Austria, Belgium, Cambodia, Czech Republic, China, Costa Rica, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Mexico, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, the Netherlands, Panama, Philippines, Poland, Russia, Scotland, Singapore, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, USA, Ukraine, Vatican City, and Vietnam.
Why Meredith Woolley Counselling?
Counselling allows you to invest time and energy on your new journey, face ourselves, find time for reflection, and re-discover and heighten our strengths through a supportive environment that promotes clarity and fulfillment.
I understand that time is precious and time is money. As well as the commitment and energy that can come with self-reflection, challenging unhelpful beliefs and thoughts, and in learning to accept (which does not mean that we are saying what has happened is ok) whatever we are dealing with that has brought us to speak to a counsellor.
Specialized Counsellor Training, Education and Credentials
I believe that learning as a counsellor should not end after graduation. Attending workshops and training programs on topics relevant to my field is important to me as I strive to grow as a counsellor and as a person.
